8th Grade vs Crown Point Wheeler (43 - 30) Win The 8th grade Lady Dogs finish their regular season with a good victory over their cross town rivals Wheeler. The girls came out ready to play jumping to a 12-0 lead at the end of the first quarter. The girls played well for the rest of the half to lead 19-8. The girls came out strong in the second half to get the victory 43-30. Everyone contributed in the win by scoring, passing, rebounding, or playing good defense. The girls end the regular season with a 13-2 record. Next week, the girls will start their conference tourney. The "B" girls ended their season with a great victory over Wheeler. The girls could not get their shots to fall early in the game, but found their range late in the first half to have a 13-4 lead. Their good play continued in the second half to get the victory 22-8. Everyone scored and played good defense to contribute to the victory. The girls ended the season with a 7-1 record.
